The Łubin duo’s latest concept album, “Cargo,” will be released on January 30th. It is the result of nearly a year of work on conceptual musical material inspired by the phenomenon of railways. The album combines field recordings, electronics, and compositions based on the rhythm of trains, exploring both the technical aspects of transportation and its cultural, social, and symbolic meanings. Sonically, the album is embedded in minimalist, glitchy electronics, creating a hypnotic, dreamlike atmosphere. It features six tracks, nearly 40 minutes of meditation on movement, transience, and time a proposition for listeners seeking experimental music based on mindful listening and working with sound. This material will be released exclusively on black vinyl and digitally. It is available for pre-order now at Alchembria.PL and on our Bandcamp profile.
