Actually Not A Lifeparty

Zoharum presents the latest EP from HRV – a solo project by Bartosz Hervy – an artist of many talents – producer, musician, video maker, graphic designer. This four-track mini-album is a musical record of helplessness, denial, claustrophobia and darkness that filled his inner world when he was facing depression in the past decade. The electronics recorded on this publication seem to carry a huge emotional charge, supported by strong experience, sometimes it seems to overwhelm, only to evoke strong emotional tension the next moment.
The lyrics are personal notes, written over the last eight years as a diary of these difficult moments. Despite the weight of the subject, the main goal of this publication is to provoke catharsis – cleansing and symbolic liberation from the “cave of the past”. It is also an invitation to listeners to take their own journey deep inside themselves so that they too can find the light… all the more suggestive because supported by the wealth of sounds, colors and rhythms that fill the publication from the beginning to the last note.
