DECONSTRUCTED GENETIC TRANSMISSION

Some time ago, Stephen Āh Burroughs came across recordings by Tomasz Twardawa – a Polish musician, known for his work with GENETIC TRANSMISSION, GODZILLA, and ŁADNE KWIATKI. The publications he discovered made such a huge impression on him that he decided to make his own reinterpretation of some of them. The effect of these deconstructions was recorded in the form of an album containing five long compositions, released on CD by Zoharum.

FRAG is one of several musical projects that, alongside TUNNELS OF ĀH and the recently resurrected COMICIDE 24, are led by former HEAD OF DAVID musician Stephen Āh Burroughs .
It is under this alias that the musician creates more radical, experimental forms of music, which fit into the aesthetics of pure industrial, approaching electroacoustics, plunderphonics and noise. As FRAG, he collaborated with veteran from Italian scene, Maurizio Bianchi, Nocturnal Emissions, among others; released their works for 4iB Records, Hidden Reserve and Cruel Nature Records, among others.
