GENETIC TRANSMISSION

GENETIC TRANSMISSION, like few other projects in Poland, fits perfectly into the trend called industrial, created somewhere at the turn of the 70s and 80s by pioneers from THROBBING GRISTLE, EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN or SPK.

The musical adventure of GENETIC TRANSMISSION – for exploring the sound regions, which constitute the essence of the industrial trend. His radical searches are anti-rock, sensitive to details, the looking face of this aesthetics; sometimes oppressive noise, noisy ambient, or various sound preparations. The music of GENETIC TRANSMISSION belongs to the broad stream of industrial music, but after listening carefully to it, it turns out that this “industrial” is rather general. It is an extremely multidimensional project that easily transforms all kinds of contemporary art. In addition to the echoes of industry, we have here references to electroacoustic, concrete and bruitistic music, the basis of which is all kinds of dirt and feedback. Although today GENETIC TRANSMISSION is dormant, its impressive output, an impressive discography of several dozen discs, is enough for a dozen or so years of careful exploration by, hopefully, subsequent generations of recipients, and the older ones also need more time to explore each valuable sound recorded during many hours of sessions .
