HVAST

HVAST was born out of time… Time to be utilized. Due to the forced suspension of the Warsaw-based band NVC due to life circumstances, in 2022 some of its musicians (Grzegorz Chudzik – bass, Michał Głowacki – electronics, computers, f/x, and Arek Lerch – drums) continued meeting in the rehearsal room. From loose jams, conversations, and ideas, the foundations of something new slowly emerged: themes, electronic noises, and percussive beats. After months of selection, improvisation, and playing with sounds, the outlines of compositions began to emerge, based on airy, electronic backdrops and a deeply trance-inspired rhythm section.
