PAS MUSIQUE

Pas Musique is a band that explores various forms of sonic abstractions in their work. The term “Pas Musique” in French means the same as “not music”, it is a metaphorical contradiction of everything that is supposed to form the basis of the leading musical trends, and this in turn is the starting point for the search for new, pure forms.

The origins of Pas Musique date back to 1995, when Robert L. Pepper began his solo career in New York. Since then it has grown into a collective of multi-instrumentalists: Jon “Vomit” Worthley, Michael Durek and Robert Pepper and, until recently, Amber Brien. The musicians also collaborated with artists such as: Brett Zweiman, David Tamura, Cathy Heyden, Jim Tuite, Brandstifter, Robin Storey (Rapoon), Philippe Petit, ZEV !, HATI, Steve Beresford, Will Seesar, Matt Chilton, Anthony Donovan, Chester Hawkins …
